VALUELESS CHEQUES
MAN AND WOMAN CHARGED. Per Press Association. TE AWAMUTU, April 19. At the Police Court to-day, a man named William Johnson and a woman, Pearl Beihler, charged with issuing a valueless cheque for £l6O to a local tradesman on Saturday, were remanded to appear on April 27tli at Te Awamutu. It is understood that other charges are pending.
