HELD UP IN STORAGE AWAITING A RISE IN PRICES QUESTION IN COMMONS By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright. Renter’s Telegram. LONDON, Match 9. In the House of Commons Mr F. Brinnt (L.) put a question suggesting that as ‘ the result of the • operations of the New Zealand Dairy Produce Export Control Board, large quantities of New Zealand agricultural produce were held up in cold storage in London awaiting a rise in price due to the artificial shortage thus created. The Dominions’ Secretary, Mr Amery, said that he was without information leading to such a conclusion, but he was ready to receive any information Mr Briant might wish to communicate to him. STRONG CHEESE OFFICERS GASSED IN HOLD. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. 1 LONDON, March 9. The fumes of a cargo of New Zealand cheese 1 overcame two officers of the steamer Suffolk. When the vessel docked at Liverpool, they entered the hold to investigate an odour which the stevedores had reported. When they failed to return a search party went below and found them unconscious They were taken to hospital.
