ENDORSES SIR JAMES GUNSON’S NOMINATION AS GOVERNMENT CANDIDATE

“In conformity with the selection made by the conference of delegates from the several branches, of the Reform League in the Eden electorate, held at Mt. . Albert on March Ist, I have pleasure in endorsing Sir James Gunson’* nomination as the Government candidate at the approaching by-election. “In making this announcement, I appeal with confidence to all supporters of the Government in the electorate to sink sec. tionaldifferences, and unite with their full strength to ensure the retention of the seat by the party which has held it £or so many years. I feel sure that with unity in our ranks the G'ov. ernment candidate (Sir James Gunson) will be returned with a substantial majority.”
