PROGRAMME MARRED BY BAIN. LEAVE FOR MASTERTON TO-DAY. The'heavy rain which fell yesterday interfered with the arrangements made for the entertainment of the Samoan chiefs. In the morning they visited the Petone Woollen hulls, and were shown over them by Mr Ramaden, the general manager. They were booked to lunch with Sir Francis Bell, at Lowry Bay, but this was abandoned owing to tbe rein, and a quiet afternoon was spent in town. This morning the party leave for Masterton where they will be the gnests of the Mayor and citizens of the town.
