A SMART ARREST

YOUNG MAN CHARGED WITH • - - - THEFT. Yesterday afternoon Detective Sinclair arrested Robert Bruce McKinley for alleged theft of a leather kit bag and contents, valued at £4, the pity, perty of Mr A. E. Best. It was stated that the theft took place in Hamilton last Tuesday evening at an hotel, after which the alleged culprit hoarded a train for Wellington, where he was soon traced by the Web lington detectives and arrested as above stated.
