Instead of Professor Martinofusco, the finder of Livy’s “History of Rome,” appearing in answer to a Government summons, h's lawyer explained to the officials that Professor Martinofusco had left Naples, an d would he returning next week. The officials warned! the lawyer of the consequences of his ngn-appearance.
