DOCTOR SENT TO TRIAL. CHARGED WITH MANSLAUGHTER. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association LONDON, September 13.Dr. Had wen, the anti-vaccinationist, who was prominent during the smallpox epidemic last year, was committed for trial at the assises at Gloucester, in a charge of manslaughter, following on the inquest on a child, Nellie Burnham, whom the jury found had ' "died af diphtheria and pneumonia. Had wen stated that he treated the child for a cold, and that there was no clinical symptom of diphtheria. He did not I take a swab from tho throat, as he considered the whole modern germ iheory bosh.
