AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND’S QUOTA. TEN PER CENT. ADVANCED Australian anti N.Z Cable Association. (Received September 14, 11.10 p.m.) LONDON, September 13. The revised figures for the wool sales opening on Tuesday, give total the available as 182;600 hales, whereof Australian and New Zealand amount to 148,780. Expectations are running high regarding the probable course of ■Values. Most people in the trade, .taking into consideration the sensational advance in tops which has occurred since July, anticipate a rise of ten per cent., both in merinos and crossbreds. Meanwhile the cloth-makers are complaining that they cannot get for their cloth anything like the prices warranted bythe current rates for yarns. Tailors, h owever, have taken time by the forelock, and many already put two guineas on the price of suits.
