Emily Vital!, wife of Commander Vitali.'tho Italian Consul, is suing Frank Lubrano, shipping agent, or Sydney, to recover £2OOO for alleged assault, and also for his alleged action in publishing false statements regarding her. The action is a sequel to the divozcsl suit in which Commander Vitali waa co-respondent, and was adjudged guilty of adultery with Mrs Lubrano. The alleged assault consisted in Lubrano slapping her on the face at atf Italian dinner.
