A scuffle ensued, and tbs police intervened. The Mejliss met in the evening, when Today on, the Progressive Party leader, endeavoured to rush the question of members’ dredootials in order to coins to the important question of a Republic.
The Moderates strongly opposed every; motion, Tadayon not having a majority owing to a split in' his party. The motions were defeated, and the Mejliss adjourned without arriving at a decision.
It is reported that the Crown Princq has been - .warned to leave, and th«t Royal ladies have already left.
