In the Dominion Farmers’ Institute this evening, Air IV. L. Wigley, the first climber to reach the summit o: Mount Cook in winter, will deliver aE enthralling lecture on his experience. Tlie story will be illustrated with a unique series of lantern slides. This lecture has been given before enthusiastic audiences in other parts of the Tiominion. In view of the increasing popularity of Mount Cook as a holiday resort, a large audience is anticipated. The Tararua Tramping Club are responsible for Air Wiglev’s visit to Wellington. and the meeting takes place under its auspices.
