INDIANS’ CASE DISCUSSED. NO FINALITY. Eeuter’* Telegram. LONDON, October 29. Addressing the Imperial Conference, Lord Curzon communicated the terms of the replies of the Allied Governments to the proposal to hold a reparations inquiry. A short discussion followed, after which the Du_ke of Devonshire made a statement dealing with the position of Indians in the colonies, protectorates, and mandated territories.
The general discussion of the position of Indians in the Empire was then resumed.
