Mr Aurien Chamberlain, speaking at Birmingham, declared that the Premier had raised a great issue, hut had left the world doubtful regarding what he meant to do. Ho had said enough to raise his opponents to fullest activity, but net enough for the guidance ol his friends. Mr Chau’ihetlnin concluded try saying that if Mr Baldwin really meant business ho would bo with him unreservedly, to tho end.
