It is announced that Lord Justice Coleridge is resigning his judgeship of the King’s Bench Division. Lord Younger succeeds Lord Cave as a Lord of Appeal. Sir Ernest Pollock succeeds Lord Stemdale as Master of the Rolls, thereby creating a Parliamentary vacancy at Leamington. Mr Justice Sargent has been appointed a Lord Justice of Appeal.
