“COULD PREVENT ALL WARS.” LLOYD GEORGE’S CONVICTION. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association (Received October 12, 10.35 p.m.) OTTAWA, October 11. At St. Catherine’s, in Ontario, Mr Lloyd George told newspapermen that if the British used the League of Notions with tact to enforce peace they could prevent all wars without hostilities if they made it plain they would not tolerate war.
He said the French were negotiating behind Germany’s back with Ruhr labour, and upsetting European peace.
