CHINA’S PRESIDENT

ELECTED BY BRIBERY. SUN YAT SEN’S MANIFESTO. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. SHANGHAI, October 10. Dr Sun Yat Sen, the Southern Constitutionalist leader, has issued a manifesto, which he has submitted to the foreign diplomats, in which he denounced the recent Presidential election, and declared war on the Presi-dent-elect, Tsao-Kun, against whom he has ordered the organisation of a punitive expedition. The expedition is to proceed also against all members of Parliament who participated in the election. Coincidentally, 76 members of Parliament met and repudiated the election of Tsao-Kun, declaring that it was invalid, because of the widespread bribery by which it was won.
