H. M. Aitkeh. The accused and her husband were employed by Mr Aitken, continued the chief-detective, and were new arrivals in this country. “There are many more articles, the theft of which we have not charged them,” concluded the chief-detective. The aocused was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence if called upon within twelve months.
