PRICE OF CREAM
REDUCTION OF 6d PER PINT. CITY COUNCIL DELIVERY. . A reduction .in ihe price of cream from the municipal milk depot has been decided upon. by* the City Council. Cream is at present .supplied at 2s per pint, hut as from October Ist, the date from whioh tbe price of milk will be reduced to sid per quart for the summer months, it will be Is 6d per pint. Smaller quantities will be obtainable at 9d per half-pint, and 5d per quarterpint: Arrangements have been made for the delivery of cream to householders in small bottles in place of the castors art present, in, use., This system wilt oommemoe at, the beginning of November. 'As in the case of milk, the first cream bottle delivered to each consumer will be free of charge, but a charge will be made far every new bottle thereafter.
