PRINCE AS SPORTSMAN

HIS RACING INTENTIONS DISCUSSED. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. LONDON, March 15. Considerable in tercet has been aroused in England in the racing intentions of the Prince of Wales, and tbe question of the Prince establishing a racing stud has been revived. It is authoritatively stated that the Prince does not intend owning racehorses, preferring to devote hie activities entirely to hunting and point-to-point steeplechasing. The Prince will probably attend the chief race meetings. T'he Prince of Wales rode Pet Dog in the Brigade Guards’ inter-regimen-tal point-to-point steeplechase at Helmaon. He started favourite, and finished sixth.
