KARO El ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL CLUB. X’REPARATIONS FOR THIS SEASON. In anticipation of the approaching football season, and to make arrangements accordingly, the Karor i Association Football Club held their annual meeting- in the 1.0-.0.F. Lodge rooms, Lambton quay, last evening. Mr S. Randall presided. The treasurer, Mr 11. Rankine. reported that the financial position was entirely satisfactory, and they would be able to commence next season with a substantial credit balance. Speaking of the play of club members last season, the chairman stated that excellent form had been shown, and the club had held its own in a creditable manner. It was decided to write to the City Council with a view to obtaining permission to use the Karori Park for practice purposes. Regarding the entry of a fourth grade team, it was decided to hold the matter in abeyance. A vote of thanks was extended to all retiring officers, and special mention- made of their zeal and integrity during the past season. In order to secure satisfactory arrangements regarding players, etc., a few minor matters were withheld pending the commencement of the season.
