During tho executions of six condemned Sinn Feiners, an armoured car was stationed outside Mountjoy Prison, and an aeroplane circled overhead from dawn. The condemned men walked to the scaffold unaided. A notice was subsequently posted outside the gaol, stating that tho executions had been duly carried out. There was a profound sdence among the crowd for several minutes afterwards. Business was at a standstill in Dublin as a sign of mourning for the six exoeuted men. Thousands knelt outside Mountjoy Prison praying during the executions. TRAIN AT?. 72 AN AUXILIARY KILLED. NARROW~ESCAPES.. LONDON. March 14. Sinn Feiners attacked a train at Ardfert station, which was conveying a party of auxiliaries. The driver was wounded in tliq head, and an auxiliary named Falkiner was shot dead. Tho driver was then ordered to start, and finished tho journey to Tralee at high speed. The driver collapsed on reaching Tralee. Many of the passengers had remarkable escapes.
