The degrees of hardship and the number of children will in future be the guiding factors which will determine the older of preference of applicants for workers’ dwellings erected under the Government housing scheme. In the past the houses have been allotted in the order in which applications have been received, but the new policy of the Housing Board will operate immediately. It is pointed out that the Government houses are erected of concrete, and the walls are plastered throughout. If children are really destructive they will be less likely to do very severe damage to this class of cottage. ’Tis said bv .some there's no cure for colds, but "NAZOIj” quickly relieves the worst cases.
