A three Tink match Wellington versus Christchurch Post and Telegraph Departments commenced to-day with the foltov'ing results (Christchurch skips mentioned first) :—Kelly 26 v. Popple 16, Finnegan 13 v. Nic'holls 26, Chambers 30 v. Ingram 10; second round, Kelly 13, Nicholls 12, Filinegan 22, Ingram 0, Chambers 17, Popple IS. In the morning the visitors were taken for a motor run round the city and suburbs. The tournament will be concluded to-morrow. The following players will represent the Thorndon Bowline Club in friendly games to-day against Lower Hutt: — Away: Hull, Nimmo, Staff, Lock (s); Batten, Allen, Mason, Thompson (s); Gamble, Bouald»eo.
