HARRY HOLMES DEFEATS MICK RUTHERFORD. FEB PRESS ASSOCIATION NAPIER, March 11. A boxing contest * between Harry Holmes (9«t 61b) and Mick Rutherford (3st 121 b) for a purse of £250 went Ihe full 15 rounds, and was won on points by Holmes after an excollent. scientific display. Both men were in fine condition. and finished comparatively fresh. Rutherford fought willingly, but was not equal to Holmes in tactics.
