Hussoy took four wickets for 11 runs, Blamires threo for 4, Treadwell three for 24. When stumps wore drawn 'VYanganui had lost five wickets for 205 (Harris 67, Hussey s*, Wood 37. London 27). OTAGO V. SOUTHLAND. liNVERCARGILL, March 17. The Otago v. Southland match opened to-day in fine, weather. Otago went in first and made 180. Southland, in their first innings, made 156 for eight wickets.
