HOMING PIGEON RACE
Tho Wellington Homing Pigeon hooiety flew a race on Saturday last from •Waipawa for a trophy presented by Mr B. Dawson. Fifteen lofts wero represented by 100 birds, and the race resulted as follows: —' :.'■.. 1. P. W- Lamb's "Little Mint" 1150 yards per minute. 2. A. Clark's "No. 200," 1143.9 yards per minute. ,' 3. K.-Hoare's "100," 1143.6 yards per minute. i. 3. Bolton's "347," 1142 yards per minute. 5. F. Langdon's '399,". 1141 yards per minute. 6 .T. H. Clark's "5.P.G.," 1140 yards per minute. .
