PRIME MINISTER ANSWERS A ' QUESTION. SENTENCE IN THE KING’S SPEECH. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright LONDON, July 23. The sentence in the King’s speech to'the delegates to the conference on the'lrish question, in which His Majesty made mention of civil wav, was inferred to .to-day in tho House of Commons.Replying to Sir H, Dalzaoll (Liberal), Mr Asquith said “Tho sentence in the speech was never, intended to convey more than was obviously true —that apprehensions: of civil strife had been widely entertained and expressed by responsible, sober-minded persons, amongst whom I may perhaps include myself.P
