LENGTHY SITTING AND RENEWED HOPES. LONDON, July 23. The conference held a lengthy sitting, and there are renewed hopes of a successful termination to its deliberations, AN ADJOURNMENT. LONDON, July 23. Tho conference of political party leaders on tho Home, Rule question has been adjourned until to-morrow. SLENDEREsfIioPES OF SUCCESS. > SPEAKER’S SUGGESTION REJECTED. (Received July 24, 9.35 p.m.) LONDON, July 24. There are only tho slenderest hopes of the success of the conference. The King gave an audience to Mr Asquith after yesterday’s sitting, and it is expected that a decisive statement will bo issued to-day. It is understood that tho conference declined to accept the Speaker’s suggestion to exclude Tyrone for two yeans and afterwards to ballot for or against exclusion. SOLDIERS REPRIMANDED. The Irish Guards were paraded at Wellington Barracks, and Colonel Morris stated that ho was sorry that soldiers in uniform should give way to a political demonstration. [The Guards cheered Mr Redmond and Mr Dillon as they passed tho barracks.]
