OTAGO SUGGESTIONS. Association. DUNEDIN, May 22. Notice has been given of the following motions for the annual meeting of the Otago Provincial Council of the Farmers’ Union: —That the Government be asked to take a referendum of people as to those in favour -of military training; that compulsory service in the territorials _be restricted to youths residing within two miles of a borough, and that rifle clubs be encouraged in rural districts.
