Society; that a standard weight be set up for remounts for the mounted infantry of the Dominion; that General Godley be written to asking what weight mounted infantry hores are expected to carry.

It was resolved:—"That the Minister of Agriculture and Mr Peakes (chief vet.) be invited to attend the show.” "That neighbouring towns bo asked to clcso business premises early on People’s Day.” "That the Wellington Meat Export Company bo asked to give an exhibit of wool and produce similar to that shown at Palmerston and Wanganui.” "Th.%t tho freezing of lambs bo left in the hands of the Wellington Meat Export Company.” Messrs W. Reid, J. Knight, and W. J. Phillip each gave a sheep for guessing competition. The following new members were elected:—.T, Seymour, J. Sanko, P. G. Miles, P. Mercer, T. Verrity, W. Smart, A. Gombistsis, C. H. F. McPherson, Feilding; B. E. Homblow, Mangaweka; W. Tucker, Halcombe; T. F.‘ ' Fitzgerald, Kimbolton; J. Baldwin, Turakina; A. H. Hunt, Greatford; F. Wollerman, Palmerston North; J- W, Masters, Sanson; IV J. Eglinton, Kaimatarau: Alf Gray, Sanson.

The secretary reported that donations and members' fees recently- collected totalled .£156 15s, making a total of .£344. The Auctioneers’ Association had increased its donation to .£2O. There was still a considerable amount of money to collect.

A hearty vote of thanks was accorded the donors.
