4FECIA h TO Til 13 "tIUSS.'’ WANGANUI, September 20. Several visiting- horses arrived to-day, including Counterfeit and Countermine, in charge of Cutts; Big Blast and Merry Frank, in charge of F. Iliggott; Boanerges, Ivilosteri, Bronze, and a couple of others in charge of George Price. The Hon, J. :D. Ormond's horses arc to arrive to-night, and a largo number are due to-morrow. Good reports have boon received here of the work done by Labour Day, and if the Soult filly‘starts in the Guineas she will have a number of supporters, notwithstanding that Royal Scotch, Counterfeit and one or two others are reputed to be so very brilliant. Though Euroco has been scratched for the Hack Hurdles on the first day, lie is doing good work, and there are many who look to hint to 'win on the second day, so. well is he jumping. Coromandel is going well, and should be hard to beat in his engagements. There is every prospect of the meeting being ono of tho most successful yet hold by the Wanganui Jockey Club.
