CUT TO PIECES BY A TRAIN
SHOCKING FATALITY WELL-KNOWN LYTTELTON RESIDENT KILLED. PEESS ASSOCIATION. CHEISTCHUKCH, May 30. A well-known resident of Lyttelton, Mr R. Richardson, proprietor of the British Hotel, was killed by falling off the 4.30 p.m. train from Lyttelton' to Christchureh to-day. The deceased was standing on the gangway between two carriages, and lost his balance and fell on the track. He was cat to pieces.
