Rockefeller has given 1,000,000 dollars for the purposes of a commission of doctors who are investigating the hookworm disease, prevalent in the rural districts of tho Southern States. The disease is similar to sleeping sickness. Tho Commission states that 2,000,000 persons of all classes are infected.
