HIEBS ASSOCIATION. . , GOHM, December 3. Tho Gore show opened to-day, when sheep, cattle, and several minor sections wore judged. Cattle wore poor in point of numbers, but tho sheep were an cxceptioiiallv strong feature. In Border Leiccsters, A. Murdoch secured champion ram prize, mid McKorchar Bros, champion cwo: Border Leicester, McKorclmr Bros., ram ami.ewcf Romneys. IV. J. Johnston and IV, Krinkm; Downs, IV. J. Johnston; merino, W J. Johnston; Corricdalo, Stringfcllow's Kte'nr, tors; crossbred, James Burnett. To-morrow tho horses will bo judged. The Uon. R. KrNab and Messrs W. Fraser and Malcolm, M.P.’s, will be present.
