Tho Customs revenue received yesterday totalled £1592 19s 6d. Dalgety and Go., Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their Loudon office, dated 28th inst.: Slightly better demand for hides in general. Leather (in general), prices are higher by id per lb. Basils (in general) are higher by 2d per lb. JOHNSONVILLE STOCK SALE. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Johnsonville sale as follows: A i full entrv of bullocks. 1 The quality was prime, but the bulk light weight. Beef made 33s per 1001 b. Best bullocks £9 7s 6cl, others £8 17s 6d to £9 ss, and £8 to £8 10s. light £7 5s to £7 15s. A good yarding of sheep, mostly of prime quality. The market was keener than last week. Best wethers 25s 2d. others 23s 7d. shorn wethers 18s to 18s 6d: ewes, best 23s Bd, 23s Id; others 22b 6d. Woolly hoggets 15s sd; owes and lambs 22s 6d.
SYDNEY WOOL SALES. PRESS ASSOCIATION. SYDNEY, October 31. At the wool sales prices wore slightly more in the buyers' favour. It is under, stood that the limited English buyers are reduced, but good wool is in steady demand at about late rates. Greasy sold up to 1-ild.
