SPORT IN WELLINGTON.
(To the Editor "N.Z. Times.") Sir,—l read with some interest an article which appeared in your columns from Mr McDowell on "Sport in ’Wellington,” but he has omitted to tell us when he and his friends held their first race meeting after reviving the sport, or when the club was formed and the grandstand built; also the four hundred pound cup run, for which he collected the money. I am sure it would prove interesting reading to others besides myself,—l am, etc., TRUE BLUE. October 28th.
