P»E8B ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND .May 23. A crowded and enthusiastic meeting was b°M in the Federal Hail to-night, under the auspices of the Biblo-in-schools League. Addresses in favour of the objects of the league were delivered by tho Anglican Bishop of Auckland.the Hon E. Mitchelson. and others. Devolutions were carried in favour of a Biblc-in-schoo!s referendum. and generally approving tho league’s policy. It was also resolved that candidates for Parliament be questioned ns to their views on the referendum.
