The Attempt Unsuccessful, and the Steamer

By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copyright. Received December 20, 0 p.m. London, December 18. The operations for raising the steamer Orotava, submerged at Tilbury Docks, have not mot with success. A rope attached to the mainmast broke, and the result is that the vessel has settled down in a worse position than before.
