The Promised Amnesty to the Armenians.

Alexandria, have died, and it is believed they wore poisoned. Forty-five of Abdul llaraid’a* wives have boon arrested in connection with the matter. Received December 21, 1 a,m. Constantinople, December 20. Ministers recommend the Sultan that if the Patriarchate guarantee the good conduct of IUO persons, a general amnesty to the Armenian prisoners will bo safe. The Patriarchate has offered to place the loaders of the Armenian revolt and those condemned to death in monasteries, and has induced other prisoners to deolaco their allegiance to the Sultan,
