MR ALFRED SILL'S FAREWELL CONCERT.
Last night a meeting of all interested ih tlia farewell concert to be tendered to Mr Alfred Hill prior to his departure from the Colony was hold in the Exchange Hall, Mr William Gill in tlio chair. Mr K. was appointed to undertake tlio secretarial duties. The Chairman announced that the executive of the Exhibition had placed at < Mr Hill » disposal, and tho committee acting on his behalf, tho Entertainment Hall tor the evenin? of December IBth, and had also kindly undertaken to advertise tho fixture m their official announcements. The programme to be presented was an exceptionally attractive one : the fleet portion would bo provided by M. Ovido Musin, Madame Muain, Herr Soharf and Miea Hathorly, and tho cantata Hmemoa” would follow. A committee was appointed to further the interests and success of the concert. A good number of tickets wore distributed among those present for sale. Already over 350 seats have been booked, and tho committee have little doubt bat that the seating accommodation of tho hall will be taxed to its utmost.
