PETROLEUM BORING AT TARANAKI.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. New Putslootu, December 8. The Satroletim Company has just succeeded in recovering the whole of the drilling tools lost down the bore, 2000 ft deep, about a month ago. Packing operations to shut off the water will now be resumed, and Me Samuel, managing director, expects that by the end of the week on will be earning up pure, and in quantity about eight barrels per diem. During the fishing for tools,-oil has continued to flow freely at intervals.
