THE NATIVE LAND LAWS COMMISSION.
(per press association.) New Plymouth, April 21,
The Native Land Laws Commission arrived from Auckland last night by steamer, and commences its enquiry in New Plymouth this morning. Mr Samuel gives evidence as to the working of the existing native land laws in this district, and Mr Rendall, Native Trustee, in tespect to dealing with the reserves. On Wednesday the Commission goes to Paribaka, and on to Opunake aud round the coast.
