Mr William Hill, the Manager of the Colonial Bank of Australasia at Reedy Creek, has been, arrested charged with the robbery which was committed at that branch on 12th August last. Adelaide, October 2.

The revenue of South Australia for September quarter amounted to £525.000, a decrease of £85,250 compared with the corresponding period of 1881. The decrease is mainly due to a falling off in land revenue.

(Received October 2,12.30 p.m.) Sydney, October 2. The New South Wales revenue last quarter amounted to £1,750,000, an increase of £41,500 compared with September quarter, 1881. The principal increases are in Customs and railways. The revenue for the year ended 30th September, was £7,250,000, an increase of £878,000 compared with the corresponding period of 1880-81. Brisbane, October 2.

It is stated that the Government are likely to be in a minority on the Warrego Railway Bill now before the Assembly, and that it is probable a dissolution will take place if the Ministry are defeated.
