SOUTH AFRICAN GOLDFIELDS.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —Can any of your correspondents kindly inform me as to the best and cheapest route for getting to Natal, South Africa ? I have been unable to get any information elsewhere, or I would not encroach on your space.—l am, &c., R.D. [Vessels leave Melbourne periodically for Natal, ‘ carrying passengers. The passagemoney is not excessive. The writer should address -Messrs. Spence Brothers, shipowners, Melbourne. An intending visitor to Natal can also reach that colony by way of Galle and Aden. Steamers leave the latter port at intervals for Natal and the Cape of Good Hope.— Ed.]
