Two miles ; over eight flights of hurdles, 3ft 6in high. To start at 1 p.m. 3. First Handicap Hack Hurdles, of 40 sovs ; second horse to receive 10 sovs from the stakes. Nomination, 10s ; acceptance, 1 sov. One mile and three-quarters. For horses that have never won a race of over 40 sovs (Hack and Hunter races accepted). To 4. Manawatu Cup, of 300 sovs; second horse to receive 35 sovs, and third horse 15 sovs from the stakes. Nomination, 2 sovs ; acceptance, 7 sovs. One mile and a half.
