No entry will be received for any race except upon this condition : —-That all disputes, claims and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint, their decision on all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final. 2. All entries to be sealed and addressed to the Secretary, Palrnerston North. Entrance money enclosed with name and age at the time of entry, pedigrees, and in case of Handicap, performance of the horse, name of the owner and colours of the rider. Any jockey riding except in the colours entered will be fined 3 sovs. 3. When two or more horses start (tbe property of the same owner), a distinguishing colour must be worn. 4. All persons intending to withdraw horses are i-equired to give notice to that effect to the Secretary or Clerk of Scales one half hour before the advertised time of starting; any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this rule shall pay a fine of 5 sovs to the race fund=s. 5. All Races to be run under the W.J.C Rules. 6. Horses walking over will only receive half the stakes. 7. No horse to save his stakes in any race, except where otherwise specified. 8. Penalties in above Programme not to be cumulative. TOTALISATOR INVESTMENT. The Secretary will receive money for investment. Instructions must be accompanied by Bank Drafts, Post Office Orders, Postal Notes, Money Order Telegrams. Contingent instructions cannot be attended to.
