INCREASE OF .£47,503 FOR 1895. A comparative return of the Customs revenue for the years 1894 and 1595 is published in the Gazette issued yesterday. The figures are :—-61,619,970 for 1895, and .£1,572,467 for 1894, showing an increase of £47,5' 3 for 1895. Auckland contributes an increase of .£41,895, and Wellington an increase of £1 1,377, while Dunedin and Lyttelton show decreases of .£3l-61 and £650 respectively.
