All nominations, entries, acceptances, &c., accompanied by the necessary amount payable, close at the Club Hotel, Wellington, not later than 9 p.m. (unless stated to. tho contrary) on tho advertised dates of closing. The Rules of Racing, as adopted by the Metropolitan Clubs of New Zealand, will be strictly alihered to. Five per cent, will be deducted from the gross amount of all stakes. Horses walking over will receive 50 per cent, of tho stakes. Persons desirous of being registered as gentlemen riders are referred to Rules ISI and 182. Rules of Racing.
