NOTE. —All socond moneys aro doducted from the stakes ; also, winners on the seoond day will be liable to be ro-handioapped, if necessary, up to Ist. Nominations for all events close with the Sooretary at tho Empire Hotel, Feathorston, on Thursday, ‘list March, at 7.30 p.m. Weights for tho first day’s Handicaps will be declared on Saturday, March 30th. .Acceptances for tho first day’s Handicaps close at the Sj.mo place on Monday, Sth April, at 7.30 p.m. Weights for tho second, day’s Handicaps will be declared at tbo Empire Hotel, Feathorston, at about 8 p.m. on the night of tho first day’s races. # Acceptances close at a timo to bo notified after weights aro posted. RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. Nominations and Acceptances must bo accompanied by the neoessary fees, otherwise they will be rejected. 2. Nominations must state . colour, sex, name, age, pedigree and previous performances (where not known to handioapper), and colours to be worn by the rider, and quote number of race entered for. 3. A hack is a horse that has never won an advertised race at any time (hack and hunter races excepted) and is not nominated in any race other than Hack or Hunter races at time of Nomination. 4. The Stewards reserve the right to alter the dates of nominations, weights and acceptances, should occasion arise, subject to the approval of the Metropolitan Club. GEORGE T. F. HUTTON, Secretary.
