UNEMPLOYED IN NAPIER.

A CRUEL SELL. (press association). Napier, May 19. It is stated that there are many unemployed men about. The other day it was reported to the Labour Bureau that contractors of Wairoa required 20 men. The police selected thoroughly suitable men and shipped them there. Borne have returned. They report that only three were taken on. Those who had money enough toek deck passages back, but the majority had no money, and are now tramping back overland.
